Lilan Kane — blue-eyed soul

Thursday, July 18, 8pm at Mr. Tipple’s Recording Studio

Lilan Kane‘s vintage-tinged soul sound flows through the heartfelt compositions that tell stories of love, loss, and self-discovery while seamlessly blending R&B, funk, pop, and jazz. Her album Love, Myself was released to a sold out crowd at Yoshi’s Jazz Club. Backing her will be Kevin Wong, piano; Andrew Couttie, bass; and Dante McClinton, drums.

This is a Guaranteed Fair Wage Fund event where each musician will be paid $150 in advance. Jazz in the Neighborhood makes this possible by subsidizing 40% of their pay. Mr. Tipple’s guarantees the rest. For additional information, please contact Mr. Tipple’s Recording Studio.
