Andrew Gilbert features Bay Area guitarists in his Mercury News article, “The Guitar is dead? Don’t tell these Bay Area jazz cats.” Of those mentioned, Terrence Brewer is a member of Jazz in the Neighborhood’s Artist Advisory Committee; John Schott is a Jazz in the Neighborhood member, supporter, and roster musician; and Mimi Fox will be a featured performer at the Jazz in the Neighborhood fundraiser on September 24th.
