Ian Dogole & Music Beyond Borders

Friday, July 13, 6pm at Copperfield’s Books in San Rafael

For pure musical adventure that crosses geographical borders and bridges the divide between “world” music and improvisational jazz, this assemblage is not to be missed. In addition to Ian Dogole on udu, cajon, djembe, talking drum, hang, kalimba, the trio features Sheldon Brown on tenor, alto & soprano saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute & other surprises, and Sascha Jacobsen on double bass.
