Joshua Smith Quartet

The Joshua Smith Quartet plays a repertoire of jazz standards, great American songbook classics, and bossa nova, featuring tunes by Monk, Strayhorn, and Jobim, and augmented by original compositions by bandleader Smith. Their music embraces explorative improvisation and is marked by hard swinging, intriguing groove based vamps, and rhapsodic song interpretations.
