The below post is for past TAC JAZZ FEST shows in April; click here for the upcoming June shows!
We’re BACK in the neighborhood! The TAC JAZZ FEST is the first three Saturdays of April, presenting Bay Area-based jazz artists at the Temescal Arts Center, 511 48th St in Oakland. Jazz in the Neighborhood is excited to present this series at a new venue, and we are planning to continue presenting events at the TAC in the near future.
Evening concerts at the TAC will feature a cast of Bay Area heavyweights: Raffi Garabedian, Clairdee, Kasey Knudsen, Danielle Wertz, Tammi Brown, and Howard Wiley. Tickets for each show are $20, click the links below to purchase! No one will be turned away for lack of funds, contact us for more information.
Additionally, each TAC JAZZ FEST date will have a free jam session from 2-4pm with a performance by more incredible local musicians who will back up the sessions, including Akira Tana, Mario Guarneri, Erik Jekabson, Frank Martin, Mary Fettig, Gary Brown, Kristen Strom, Scott Sorkin, Ken Okada, Tammy Hall, Jason Lewis, Tony Peebles, Randy Vincent, Pat Klobas, and Dave Rokeach. Check out our events calendar to see who’s playing each day, and come play at the session before checking out the evening concerts!
